PML is a 100% software export oriented company from Chennai, India. We are part of a prestigious group called "Precious Group", whose primary area of business is Gem & Jewelry manufacturing and Trading for the last 45 years. In fact, our group established its first overseas operation at Hong Kong in the name of "Gem Corporation" in the year 1960. Our Group's global presence is in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, US and in India. As you may know, PML is already an ISO 9001:2000 certified IT Company and looking forward to taking PML into SEI CMM Levels of certification in the near future.

PML was started in 1998 as a software company to develop design (CAD) software for the Gem & Jewelry Industry as our group has a great expertise in this Industry. We did extensive research on all the international software solutions available for Gem & Jewelry design and based on the market demands and to overcome the shortcoming in all these software solutions, we designed and developed our own product called "Precious CAD" which now is rated as No. 1 Solution for Jewelry Design. Our Group uses this product extensively for Jewelry Design at all their locations. We also have quite impressive client bases, who are primarily the manufacturers of Jewelry.

This is the only Design Software from India for the Gem & Jewelry Industry and we are very proud of that. We represented ourselves in the last couple of “IIJS and GJMAA exhibitions” in India, as well as exhibitions in BKK and HK. We also have established a good dealer network for this product in HK and BKK.

We have embarked on CAM solution as well for Jewelry Industry, in the interest of providing a complete CAD+CAM solution for this Industry. Our CAM solution (Precious Jewel Modeller) comes with the software interface from Precious CAD to machine the design outputs with our own machine "5-Axis Precious Modeller", which can produce the models on Wax and metals such as Gold, Silver, Aluminium, Copper & Brass directly. This machine is also the first of its kind in India as an indigenous product and PML is the first ever manufacturer of such machines too. As these machines are made in India, we have made it highly cost-effective for the end customers.

We are also very comfortably placed in terms of our (PML's) experience in any commercial application software development projects for automation of business processes, in addition to our expertise with 3D CAD & CAM for Jewelry Industry. We have launched another software product during IIJS 2006 (Precious Performance Improvement Programme) related to “Complete Performance Management”, with which any organization will be able to define objectives/goals for their employees effectively in a structured manner and monitor everyone's performance very effectively and measure them using appropriate metrics. It can also effect and monitor performance improvement plans for every employee. This product can also work in sync with any other major corporate initiatives such as "Knowledge Transfers" etc, for any organization. This is 100% web-based on 3-tier architecture.
